In the book Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, there
are five different social castes. The castes order from best an most respectable to worst and most taunted. The castes are,
Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon. The Alphas are the best caste, they are the smartest, the best looking,
and the most likely to make a revolution. The Aplahs get treated with more respect then any other caste, they are served on
by the gammas, Deltas, and Epsilons, they are also treatd better by the general society then everyone
else as well. In the book, the main and most favorable characters are Alphas. (with the exception of John)
I think that the reason that the main characters are Alphas is because they are aloud to hold the most power out of the castes,
they are the smartest of the castes, argo they have the most character, and personality. Alphas have the most personality,
so they are most liked by readers because no one who likes the boring robotic characters that are tedious, and dull, they
like the interesting characters who have variety, and choice. The Alphas don`t have a whole lot of choice in their lives,
but have more then the other castes.
